With Jackson Castiglione, Chun Wo (MO) Tang, and the cast of All Things at Once
This workshop explores a creative process that interweaves young artists’ practice, skills, interests and ideas with an established artist's/teacher's practice. We will explore the gentle push and pull between creatives of different generations in a practical on approach to inter-generational collaboration. Both young artists, teachers and not so young artists are invited to explore a making process and playfully embrace ways that young people perceive live performance to ultimately create new forms of performance and entertainment.
About All Things at Once
Six young actors face personal challenges while coming to terms with rapid technological advancements, isolation and love in a changing world.
All Things at Once is a guise to see through the eyes of an emerging generation of young adults who face extraordinary change and opportunities in the years ahead. It’s an attempt to highlight the brilliance, romance and at times, confusing agony of what it means to be young and living between Australia and Asia in 2024. You are invited to experience an unabashed snapshot from 6 young people’s lives that attempts to bridge the gap and help understanding amongst our increasingly disparate, lonely and fragmented lives.
All Things at Once will be in creative development in the Drama Centre Rehearsal Room from 21 to 25 October during the OzAsia Festival.
